Tavros as Gamzee’s ex and this is one of the many things Gamzee and Karkat fought about as kids and Tavros and Karkat still fight about it, despite um Gamzee being with Terezi now? John thinks this is funny, Gamzee does not as hey, no stealing his black lover and Terezi is amused but also complains to Karkat about it.

Dave would like his sane life back. And also back the time he wasn’t worried about letting his partner and his bff’s stalker in the same room. (Dave just calls Karkat John’s stalker for no reason. Terezi has been a horrible influence on making Dave like pestering Karkat even more)

And I know she was his first actual fill…. hmmm, maybe it was not!dating with tav? Like they were kids and there was feelings but then it went nowhere beyond Tav doing stuff because of bad shit in his past, and then later on and uh stuff. Hell you could have some fun stuff about Tav having feelings, but Gamzee really doesn’t and is just reacting to hey friend and that causing some fun drama and just making things more fucked up.

YOU COULD MAKE IT AT THE SAME TIME SOMEHOW? :D Somehow while Tavros is with the Lalondes, he meets Gamzee, and oh fuck I am thinking of adults playing fun mindgames once they realize their slaves are passing on the hurt to their “friends.” She has a ball with it and sees it as an accessory to her toy.

Then meeting as adults, Tavros swears he has his head on straight now and Dave and John are very confused as to WTF is going on with the boys. Terezi finds it hilarious, though she makes it a point to quickly study up about what went down. As it is totally her job to know this stuff.

Rose is curiously silent on the subject, which wow way to set off a million alarm bells with others Rose.

Adult Tav is SO SORRY, Gamzee is torn between being pissed at him and also still liking him because they were good bros, John and Dave have NO IDEA. Karkat still thinks Tavros is a jackass. Terezi is probably inclined to agree when she learns what happened, but also thinks this whole thing is hilarious because yeah, she’s Terezi.

Rose, you are being very suspicious. Everyone begins to interrogate her. Terezi will pry secrets out of her with sexy intimidation! It is the best kind! She swears by it.

And adult Tav is pretty sure he was a jackass too. He gets so horribly guilty about it, it makes Dave very worried. Because his partner being this bothered is not cool by any stretch of the imagination.

Dave is also going to duct tape John to a chair one of these days, and show him the worst of educational films he can of quadrants ed.

Now all I can think of is TereziRose and this is all your fault. My mind wants to put something in with Strifebent with that, which uuuuuh self you have KanayaRose in there already.

Oh no, now I’m imagining Dave going and yelling at Gamzee for making Tavros act weird and feel bad. Could this be the start of a beautiful new rivalry?

Rose also has this habit of getting into short black flings with trolls. The first time she and Gamzee and Terezi meet, it’s at some sort of fancy mob party and she and Gamzee end up hatesmooching in a dark cranny for a little while, while Jade and Terezi entertain each other and roll their eyes at their respective charges. (Rose thinks she’s the one in charge of Jade but she’s so, so wrong.) They come back and Terezi eagerly inquires about what kissing humans is like! Rose tries to be as dignified as she can with the back of her dress clawed open.
